Finally got some Biltwell Window Bars, and some old school coke bottle grips (not on yet).
Next up – paint, then I’m done.
So… it’s the middle of winter here, so you will have to bare with me.
I have no garage, so if it’s fine, I’m out for a ride.
Rather than taking photos!
Will get some good flicks of the latest updates.
The solo seat is on, and the rear guard lowered and shaped.
I got a new solo seat.
I was in a rush to get the bike rideable for a chopper show in town on the weekend.
So I just chucked it on with some rough brackets I whipped up.
I got it nice and low.
I will sort out some better brackets and take some better photos.
So the plan is to fix up the seat mounting, lower the rear fender, and shape it.
Yes that’s right. I butchered my seat.
It started off good. I was only cutting the underside to lower the lot.
Then I got blade-happy and tried to trim and shape.
Buying a solo seat tonight.
What a mess. I was pretty irate.
And I’m not one for patience.
Well, lucky, lucky me.
I found some used drag pipes in the country, for very cheap.
I removed the stock exhaust.
Ready to wrap the pipes (wear gloves! I didn’t – sore hands).
The pipes all wrapped up.
I installed the new exhausts.
Here is a video comparing the stock exhaust with the drag pipes.
