Worked on the breathing situation, and removing the right hand side chrome pod.

Air filter unit removed completely.

Installed an Emgo Crank Case Filter Assembly 3/8″ (Part No: 14-20900).

This fits on the end of the breather pipe, and bolts to old pod unit mounting.

Installed a K&N Air Filter (Part No: 62-1515).

This fits over the old air filter hole in the frame.

All done, looks great, breathes easy.

  1. Hi there, great blog. Gave me some good ideas for my project and it was awesome to have part numbers as well. I was wondering if you needed to tune the bike or play with jets etc when you installed the new filter and case? Seems like you just bolted it on, end of story?
